Reception
We appreciate friends and family making their way to the Chicago area to join us in celebrating Melanie and Tyler. As an extra thank you for making the trip, the Guthrie's good friends, the Gills, have offered up their backyard as a beautiful venue to eat drink and be marry the night before.
This event is a special thank you for out of town guests making the trip to celebrate the happy couple. The Reception starts at 6:00pm and ends at 10:00pm, so there's plenty of time to rest up for the Wedding Party! If you're looking to explore Chicago this evening, we won't take offense! Chicago is a great city with lots to offer, and we can't wait to see you on Aug 24th for the Wedding Party!

The Hesdorffer's and Guthrie's are both from Winnetka and excited to be sharing a joint celebration in our hometown. We'll have hors d'oeuvres and dinner, along with lots to drink! Come ready to fill up on good food, enjoy a few (too many) drinks, and get into the celebration spirit - all with the summer grass between your toes.
Attire is summer casual. Nothing too fancy, just happy!
Fellas... permission to dress summer swanky! Get dapper, be cute, have fun, be you, Nice jeans, trousers, or shorts with a button down or shirt of any kind are just fine.
Gal pals... permission to dress happy! Get zesty, be darling, feel good, be you! Laid back dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, jeans or pants with a top of any kind are just fine.
